National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore\, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. \n\n\nMillions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states\, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August (Texas and select areas celebrate on the first Tuesday in October). A giant inflatable waterslide\, giant twister set\, and bounce house along with lawn games spread out throughout the park grounds. Kona Ice will be serving 150 free cones between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. This event is open to all residents of Fawn Ridge\, so tell your neighbors and please join us in celebrating the Summer as a community!\n\n*** Volunteers Needed ***\n\nWe are still in need of volunteers to help set up/cook/clean. DESCRIPTION:New Amendment Proposals – Door-to-Door Volunteers – Saturday\, August 12th 4-6 PM \n\n\n\nAs your Board of Directors\, we have proposed the enclosed Amendments to the Statements of Commitment for the entire community. \n\n\n\nWe would encourage all to read over the amendments and the Board of Directors’ notes. LINK \n\n\n\nThe proposed Amendments may only be passed “by an instrument”. Therefore\, an instrument (a “Consent and Joinder”) was created. \n\n\n\nGetting these amendments passed requires each property owner(s) to: \n\n\n\n1. Check the amendment(s) you want at the top of the “Consent and Joinder”. 2. All property owner(s) sign the “Consent and Joinder” 3. The presence of two witnesses and a notary during the signing. a. Witnesses signing the form may not be the co-owner\, or family member. b. Notary may be one of the witnesses. 4. Time for spring cleaning! \nApril 29\, 2023 is the scheduled Fawn Ridge Community Sale \nTime: 8 am to 2 pm \nPlease put a sign out at your cross street announcing your garage sale…with an arrow pointing in your direction. \nBe prepared for early birds sometimes as early as 7 am to get first pickins! \nA large garage sale sign will be placed at the entrance on the Sunday before the sale. Next Door and other social media sites will have a post announcing the sale. \nPlease contact Grace Hutchinson via Email\, if you would like Salvation Army to stop at your address at the end of the Garage Sale. They will arrive at Fawn Ridge at 2 pm and will pick up items left on the end of the driveways for those who have signed up. Salvation Army will accept small household items\, clothes\, etc. Slightly used furniture in good shape is ok\, too. No TV wall units\, entertainment centers\, etc. For a more complete list check their What to Donate webpage.
