Summer BBQ Cancelled 
Due to a 70% Chance of Severe Thunderstorms

The HOA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Summer BBQ due to the forecasted severe thunderstorms expected early that afternoon.

Although this is a summer water event, the safety of our residents and volunteers must come first. All inflatables would have to be immediately deflated at the first sound of thunder, which could bring the event to an abrupt end.

Combined with the limited number of volunteers available this year, we felt it was in everyone’s best interest to cancel the event rather than risk an unsafe or incomplete experience.

The Board will discuss the possibility of rescheduling the Summer BBQ at the next Board Meeting.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We hope to see everyone at the rescheduled event.
