The purpose of the Social committee is to advise and assist the Board in creating and providing social and recreational events which are geared to the interests and needs of the community. Also, the committee helps to keep homeowners informed about their Association via social media or newsletter if required.

The primary responsibilities of the SC are to:

  • Brainstorm ideas for association social events & plan events for the year. All activities and budgets recommended by the Committee shall be voted on by the BOD.
  • Create an annual budget with an estimated cost for each actual event.
  • HOA funds can only be used for events that are all-inclusive for the community resident.
  • Execute planned events
  • Report activities to, and work at the direction of, the HOA Board of Directors
  • Implement a “Yard of the Month,” seasonal holiday decorations contest, and similar community engagement functions
