Summer Community Maintenance

Dear Homeowners,

Your community Board of Directors would like to offer their best wishes for the Summer. Now that the rainy season is upon us, the BOD wants to remind everyone of some summer maintenance responsibilities. Please take a moment to evaluate your residence and correct, as needed, any noted deficiencies.

This is the time of year when yard work and lawn maintenance must really begin.

  1. Lawns should still be mowed, trimmed, and edged.
  2. Sidewalks should be cleared of any debris or overgrown grass.
  3. Dead areas of grass should be replaced and watered.
  4. Shrubs, bushes, and palm trees should be pruned and shaped.
  5. Yard debris is to be put curbside no earlier than the evening before pick up (Tuesday Morning) and branches should be cut into manageable lengths.
  6. Remove weeds in garden beds, cracks in walkways, and driveways.
  7. Keep mailboxes, exterior walls, screen enclosures, driveways, walkways, and fences clear of mold, mildew and grime.
  8. Clean your gutters to allow proper water flow.

Additionally, please be reminded that any modification to the exterior of your lot or residence requires the written approval of the Architectural Review Committee prior to commencing with work, including the installation of new driveways, fencing, and/or painting of residences.

The approved paint colors, ARC Guidelines, and ARC Approval Form for Fawn Ridge can be found on the community website. https://fawnridge.org/arc-forms-and-guidelines/

The BOD goals are to protect home values and maintain the aesthetics and peaceful environment of the community for all residents to enjoy. Enforcement procedures are intended to gain cooperation and compliance. Please feel free to reach out to the Board of Directors with any concerns.

Thank you for your efforts in helping to maintain our community.
