National Night Out BBQ Event – Saturday, October 17th – 4:00 – 7:30 PM – Fawn Ridge Park
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring our local heroes and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
It will kick off with a fire safety demonstration from 4:30 – 5:30 by our local fire department and an explanation of the features of their fire truck and equipment. Information on the Neighborhood Watch Program and safety will also be provided.
Block Captains and members of the Board of Directors will be available to meet with residents along with our local deputies and other law enforcement to answer any questions or concerns.
There will be giant inflatables, lawn games, music, FREE FOOD, cold drinks, snacks, and a Kona Ice Happy Hour! This event is FREE and open to all Fawn Ridge residents. Tell your neighbors, bring the family, and spend an evening with the community!
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact the Board of Directors at bod@fawnridge.org or Jeanne Gorecki at watch@fawnridge.org.
Thanks, and we hope to see everyone there!
